Creative Exchange is a Northern Ireland based artist studio group. Our mission is to support and assist the professional practice of visual artists through the provision of studio space, shared resources and the management of an annual arts programme.

 

Creative Exchange actively engages in the development of arts activities in the greater Belfast area, including dedicated education and outreach activities, and with a special emphasis on East Belfast.

Creative Exchange Artist Studios present a unique visual arts exhibition of works relating to the musical connections between Belfast, Northern Ireland and Nashville USA. This co-incides with the Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival in the Waterfront Hall (24 – 28 February 2010).

Creative Exchange started in 1996 and has been a leader in national and international exchange programmes. During that time it has been involved in organising over 30 exhibitions and numerous collaborative projects through 'The Grasses' and 'xChangeVisions' programmes. Over 140 artists from USA, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland have participated many of them travelling across 'the pond' to take part.
